PLOT

The Firsts society was lead by Yman and Xaba, rulers of Matter and Movement. Hive-minded and able to bend nature's rules at their will, this civilization was blessed with a head start on human strife, and was well on its way to use it.

That was until hardships came under the form of a comet that painted the whole sky red: when Yman left to look for it, Xaba abjured her role and left her people to an era of self-determination and war.

Thousands of years later, the human race is what remains of the Firsts. Along the way, they seem to have lost their metaphysical abilities entirely, but the appearance of a world-shattering threat compels the Will of the Hierarchy to bring them back by virtue of ten Luminaries, who now wander the modern world in search of a solution.

ABOUT

• This first little novel of mine was crafted with a genuine love for philosophy, fiction, and art at large. My hope for it is to kindle even a small spark of optimism in my readers, be it towards themselves or towards people in general.

• While outlining the plot, I drew my inspiration from classic Japanese franchises such as Neon Genesis Evangelion, Devilman, Bakemonogatari, the Metal Gear Solid series, and contemporary art masters such as V. Kandinsky and K. S. Malevič.
• I personally illustrated the novel and its promotional material, although I hope I'll be able to hire professional artists for Books 2 and 3. And that's not it! Music, animations and even an RPG are on their way, too.
